The piece is about my family. It is a journal and a map, charting where each member of my family was on every day of that month. Each row of rectangles represents a different day of the month and each column of rectangles represents a different member of my family. The colors correspond to different countries, showing which country a particular person was in on a particular day. The colors were determined using the country dial code and a color-numbering system. The idea was to create an abstracted map that illustrated the times when my family was together, or apart.
